Artist Books are a wonderfully diverse genre and my work is much the same. I'm fascinated by structures and boxes, both traditional and invented. Most of the books included here have some unique sculptural or spacial element to them.

This inspiring exhibit will showcase twin disciplines of Fine Art Original Prints & Artist Books. Entrants from CA, OR & WA were challenged to include art reflecting contemporary issues using traditional printmaking processes. The resulting works are timely, thought-provoking & striking. Central Coast Printmakers are pleased to present $1500 in cash awards. 

Our Juror, internationally known artist, ARCHANA HORSTING is Co-Founder & Director of Berkeley’s Kalā Art Institute: www.kala.org. Ms. Horsting studied at UC Davis & UC Santa Cruz. She spent many years abroad including the University of Padua, the Venice Art Academy in Italy, & studied printmaking at Atelier 17, in Paris.
